In partnership with the Rule of Law Institute of Loyola University Law School, we are hosting an event to discuss the movement for women's rights in Afghanistan. Centered on the lived experiences and struggles of Afghan women, the event will begin with a screening of the short film The Sharp Edge of Peace. The film documents the journey of four peace negotiators in the transition of the Taliban’s return to power in 2021 and will be followed by a discussion panel of Afghan women's rights leaders and women working to advocate for Afghan refugees.
