The climate crisis is not an abstraction. It is lived—and increasingly documented—by people in its path. The Here Now Project brings firsthand footage of climate extremes to the screen, then turns from witness to responsibility: How do we tell these stories ethically, confront the systems driving environmental harm, and turn urgency into meaningful local action in The Hague?

Join Art Works Projects and The Hague Humanity Hub for a special Just Peace Movie Night featuring a full screening of The Sharp Edge of Peace (MIRA Studios/Roya Film House; directed by Roya Sadat and produced by Leslie Thomas), the exhibition Women Between Peace and War: Afghanistan, and a post-screening conversation on Afghan women’s rights, gender justice, peacebuilding, and international accountability.
