Tara Todras-Whitehill is a photojournalist and communications consultant. She was a staff photographer with the Associated Press for several years and documented the 2011 revolutions in Egypt and Libya.
Tara is a recipient of the World Press Photo award for her work in Sierra Leone with the NY Times. She has also received grants from the European Journalism Centre and IWMF to create stories about women’s access to abortion worldwide.
Tara is based in Istanbul, Turkey and works for the NY Times, the Washington Post, Buzzfeed, UNICEF, the International Rescue Committee, Search for Common Ground, among others.
