megan farmer

Megan Farmer is a visual journalist based in Seattle, currently working at KUOW Public Radio. She is most interested in long form visual storytelling relating to social justice. She graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a BA in Photojournalism and attended the Eddie Adams Workshop class of XXIX. Farmer was the winner of the 2019 Emerging Lens Mentorship Program which supports the development of a young photographer’s work on a human rights or social justice issue of their choice. This program culminated in the summer of 2019 with the opening of this project at the Art Works Projects Studio Gallery in Chicago.

Emerging lens fellow

Megan Farmer is a former Emerging Lens fellow. Emerging Lens is ART WORKS Projects’ signature program that awards project support, unrestricted grants, and mentorship to emerging photographers working to document social justice and human rights issues in their own backyards and around the world.
